The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon's showrunner Chuck Lorre is currently working on another spin-off for HBO Max, but the original cast of his iconic sitcom has certainly come a long way since Big Bang Theory wrapped up in 2019.
Kaley Cuoco, who played Penny, went on to star in HBO Max's The Flight Attendant and Peacock's Based on a True Story, while Jim Parsons (Sheldon Cooper) has starred in several shows like Ryan Murphy's limited Netflix series, Hollywood.
While Johnny Galecki (Leonard Hofstadter) has been mainly out of the spotlight since the show wrapped, Mayim Bialik (Amy) began hosting Jeopardy! National College Championship in 2022. Recently, Melissa Rauch (Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz) also took the lead in Night Court.
Kunal Nayyar (Raj Koothrappali) and Simon Helberg (Howard Wolowitz) seem to be enjoying both their acting careers and family lives. But ever wonder what happened to Kevin Sussman who played their other friend, Stuart Bloom?
Here's a closer look at Sussman's life these days, including his net worth following the 12-season show.
2:05Updated January 2024:Kevin Sussman has maintained his $3 million net worth for the last couple of years. This has to do with Sussman having guest-starring roles in several series since 'The Big Bang Theory' ended. However, Sussman has yet to land a role as successful as his was as Stuart Bloom, and does not have any projects in the works at this time.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Sussman is worth $3 million in 2024. He reportedly made $55,000 per episode of The Big Bang Theory — a much lower salary compared to the main characters who were raking in six to seven figures per episode by the end of the series. Bialik and Rauch made $425,000 each, while Nayyar, Helberg, Cuoco, Galecki, and Parsons each made $1 million.
Sussman started his career back in the '90s. He made his film debut in 1999's Liberty Heights.

Sussman also often appeared in commercials as your typical nerd. But after his performance in his first movie as Alan Joseph Zuckerman, the creators of Ugly Betty decided to cast him as Walter. In 2007, he was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award.
He landed the TBBT gig in 2009. Together with his co-star, John Ross Bowie who played Barry Kripke, Sussman created The Ever After Part for FOX, as well as The Second Coming of Rob for CBS.
In 2013, he wrote and starred in the TV film, Dark Minions. He famously appeared in the Progressive Insurance commercial, later in 2020.
Sussman didn't get any acting jobs in 2020 or 2021 after the end of TBBT. But in 2022, he was playing three roles: cancer scam victim on Better Call Saul; Zac on Call Me Kat alongside his former co-star, Bialik; and his biggest role, Mark Roessler in Hulu's limited series, The Dropout. It's about the true story of the fraudulent Theranos founder, Elizabeth Holmes, played by Amanda Seyfried.
Game Rant's Joshua Kristian McCoy raved about Sussman's performance in the show, saying: "Every passing set of headlights or ringing phone sets them off, it's akin to corporate horror. Watching them break down is simultaneously tragic and hugely cathartic when things turn their way."
Sussman most recently starred in Apple TV's Lesson in Chemistry, an adaptation of a best-selling novel by Bonnie Garmus, set in the 1960s. It's led by MCU star, Brie Larson who plays Elizabeth Zotts — whose "dream of being a scientist is put on hold when she finds herself pregnant, alone and fired from her lab," per IMDb.
According to IMDb, Hall is credited for voicing Faye Miller on the animated flick, The Adventures of the Adventures 2: Denver Rocks. According to Radio Times, it's about The Adventure Family who "finds themselves on a quest for lost documents that takes them to the city of Denver. But they quickly find themselves on a perilous new treasure hunt in the mountains of Colorado, from which they may never return."
Hall keeps a low profile. She's not on Instagram, unlike her husband who broke out the wedding news on the platform in April 2023. He captioned the photo, "Did I mention I got married this weekend?"
The 52-year-old actor was congratulated by one of his former co-stars. Nayyar wrote in the comments, "Oh my gaaaawwwwwd! Love you brother." However, fans were quick to notice that he wasn't invited.
For the record, the ceremony looked pretty intimate (true to the couple's low-key nature). The pair went Instagram official as a couple on October 19, 2020. The Ugly Betty alum announced that they got engaged in March 2022, alongside a photo of them at Pastis in Manhattan's West Village. "Folks… she said yes!" he wrote in the caption.
In 2018, Sussman was linked to We the Internet TV star, Whitney Rice. That same year, his divorce from Young — with whom he was married for six years — was finalized, after six years of legal separation. The documents stated: "Both parties have waived the right to receive spousal support from one party to the other except for a one-time payment by [Sussman] to [Young]."
