What Really Happened To Jordan Danger Hinson From 'Eureka'

There are no shortage of child stars who seemingly vanish into complete obscurity. Take Reba's Scarlett Pomers. Thanks to the country star's hit sitcom and her role in Star Trek, there was a time where it seemed that the redheaded actor would become the next big thing. But, after a few really sad situations, Scarlett vanished from the spotlight. The same tragic circumstances certainly don't apply to Eureka's Jordan Hinson, but the young woman who played Zoe Carter on the 2006 Sci-Fi Channel show almost definitely left the limelight.

First of all, if it seems like Jordan Hinson disappeared forever, she kind of did. At least, the name did. Nowadays, Jordan Hinson is known as Jordan Danger. The El Paseo, Texas-native seems to have legally changed her name to Danger... While some fans think it was a ridiculous decision, it may have upped her cool factor. After all, a quick look at Jordan's Instagram page proves that she is, indeed, pretty awesome. But that doesn't explain what happened to her career. Here's what we know...

What Really Happened To Jordan Danger's Career?

If you're wondering why Eureka got canceled it may have something to do with the fact that the show was steadily dropping in viewership after its first season. When the show about a small town filled with tech geniuses first aired, it had over 4 million viewers. But this changed drastically, ending in the show's cancelation. Even though the critical response to the five-season show was mixed, it was a big enough hit to potentially launch the careers of all involved. But that didn't exactly happen...

After one hit show, it's typical that a star is launched into several more noteworthy projects. This is precisely what happened to Jon H. Benjamin after Archer was first released. It's not, however, what happened to legendary child star Haley Joel Osment and his career. And it's not what happened to Jordan Danger.

Prior to Eureka, the only other project of note that Jordan had done was a Disney Channel movie called Go Figure, in which she played, you guessed it... a figure skater. Still, Disney could see what so many viewers could... and that was the fact that Jordan had the acting chops, the remarkable good looks, and the charisma to become something great. Landing a leading role on a series for five years clearly trained in her to deal with the demands of Hollywood, both in the creative sense and in the business sense.

During the same time, Jordan played Kelsey Grammer's daughter on his extremely short-lived series, Hank and had a small role in A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas. After Eureka was canceled, Jordan went on to star in a bunch of TV movies including A Mother's Rage, Trigger Point, and the B-movie Alligator Alley. Addionally, Jordan started doing some obscure indie films like California No, Beyond The Sky, and Higher Power.

But it just seemed as though Hollywood lost interest in hiring her. At the very least, they couldn't see her obvious talent. Why? Well, honestly, we don't know. Perhaps there was drama behind-the-scenes? Perhaps Jordan simply didn't want to work? But that's all speculative.

What we do know, however, is that Jordan's passions fell to writing and directing her own work... which she also tended to star in as well. This includes 2018's Breaking and Exiting, which she wrote and starred in alongside Mel Gibson's son, Milo.

She also wrote and directed a short film about the world of drag and seems to be doing the same in her upcoming feature film, God Save The Queens. At the moment, this is the only project that she has in development. But perhaps Jordan Danger will get another big break. She certainly is deserving of one.

Inside Jordan Danger's Personal Life

Aside from her somewhat lackluster film and television career after Eureka, Jordan has been pretty present on Instagram. Because of this, fans have noticed quite a few changes to her physical appearance. This includes her dive into a darker and more rocker-like look. This includes jet-black hair, a curvier physique, clothing that screens Hank Moody meets Joan Jett, and a ton of tattoos.

Her Instagram has also told us a little bit about her relationships. At the time of this writing, Jordan appears to be single, but she was dating handsome Dynasty star Adam Huber for a few years until 2018. The last photos of the two of them together was when they took a little holiday down to Tulum, Mexico.

Jordan is also very close with her parents, brother, and has numerous close friends. So while she's fighting the good fight to get her projects off the ground, it appears as though she is nurturing some really strong connections at the same time.
